I there! I found I way to downgrade from 4.3.5 to 4.3.3 through customed firmware via snowbreeze. Although I have a huge bug issue . Sometimes the screen goes off without being locked and if iPod is playing , sound stops . I have to press hone button to reopen it and play iPod again. Any ideas??? I would like also to make a clean restore to 4.3.3 without customed snowbreeze firmware and jailbreak it with the latest redsnow which I fully trust. On 4.3.2 had no problems at all.I have saved the shsh blobs through cydia and tiny umbrella but I think that iTunes can’t restore to 4.3.3 without a snowbreezed firmware. Any help would be valueable! I have iphone 3GS 32gb with the late MC133LL model with 3.1.2 (7D11) out of the box. modem firmware is 05.11.07. Bootloader version 06.04 I bought this phone in decemebr refurb from ATT. Currently i am with ATT for a month and was planning to cancel the contract with them. Before cancelling i jailbroke the iphone with Blackra1n with att sim inside. Then installed cydia and blacksn0w. The jailbreak worked fine i guess, since i see blackrain cydia etc on the home screen. updated cydia at first start and am not sure/remember about the prompts that came up and if i said yes or now. The cydia screen says "This device has a pending TSS request" Now, the interesting part, When i switched the sim to Tmobile, i see the emergency screen. and this message " Different sim detected. Connect to Itunes" At some point i was even getting the tmobile carrier and edge sign. I could even recieve calls, but i cannot get out the emergency screen. Once i remove the tmobile sim, i see the unlock screen and get into the phone.obviously everything works, but with no sim i cannot make calls. So basically with the tmobile screen, i cannot get out the emergency screen mode even though its jailbroken and unlocked. ( since i can recive calls on the tmobile number in the iphone.) Since i could get anywhere with this, i figured i would replace the phone with att since i am still in contract. And therefore tried to restore the iphone. Here is the message i get: "This device isnt eligible for the requested build"…so bsically i am stuck. I cant restore the iphone, do not want to update 3.1.3 since there is no unlock etc and cant use the iphone with Tmobile presently. Any ideas, how to get out of this situation. Ideally i want to unlock, jailbreak this iphone to work with Tmobile.

Cydia asks to "reboot device". I’ve only been able to find discussions online about rebooting a tethered 3.1.2 jailbreak with blackra1n, but can’t find anything about rebooting with a 3.1.3 jailbreak with Pwnage. Help? ANSWER: Well the MC part only really matters for the second gen ipod touch, as all 3rd gens are MC models, whereas about half of the 2nd gens are MC and the other half are MB. Basically, the MC models have a different version of iBoot (which is basically the part of the OS that allows the ipod to turn on). And this newer version was introduced by Apple to try and counter the jailbreak. Im not going to go into this too much though as you have a 3rd gen. Basically you’ll need to downgrade to 3.1.2 first through itunes, (you can download the 3.1.2 firmware from felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware) and then you hold shift and click restore in itunes and then select the firmware you just downloaded) and then jailbreak using blackra1n, which you can download from blackra1n.com. However, every time you turn your ipod fully off, you wont be able to turn it back on until you connect it to the computer and run blackra1n again.

I plan to do the following – would this be the right way to proceed? 1) Start my tiny umbrella TSS server so my 4.3.3 SHSH is available for use. 2) Run Pwnage Tool and create a custom firmware for 4.3.3. Make sure I do NOT check Enable baseband update in order to preserve my modem firmware. Load my custom firmware into the 3gs via iTunes using DFU mode. These steps are described at iClarified – iPhone – How to Jailbreak Your iPhone 3GS Using PwnageTool (Mac) [4.3.3] I plan to use iTunes 10.2.2 and pwnage tool 4.3.3 on a Mac.
