Nowadays, everywhere you go seems like the 3D technology is on the rise. LCD TVs, movie theaters and even mobile devices are now upgrading for this kind of era. This means that since mobile devices (like smartphones and tablets) will be the target for this rising technology. And since iPhone is the number one gadget that everyone are hoping to have, it’s great features also comes great enhancements for 3D technology. What’s better? It does not require any 3D-specific hardware.
During the 3D and Virtual Reality Expo in Tokyo this week, Global Wave (the company behind Pic3D) introduced their new 3D accessory. Just like the technology used in 3D glasses, the Pic3D sheet converts your iPhone (or other iDevice) into a 3D display using a thin lenticular lens system to combine side-by-side images.
There is a thicker screen protector, much like of a regular iPhone screen protector, which covers the Pic3D sheet. Once the whole sheet was installed, 3D images will pass from your iPhone through the Pic3D sheet. Global Wave provides an application which needs to be installed first on your iPhone to further enhance the quality of the 3D videos.
This technology is not limited only to iDevices; it can also be installed to laptops, LCD TVs and Tablets. The application is compatible to iOS and windows. Although there is no exact date for this technology to appear in the market, some says it will run around $25.
How do you like to have a 3D iPhone in your pocket?

Have you ever experience some situations when you want to take a picture for a great moment but wasn’t able to do it because your iPhone just can’t direct to the camera app immediately? One of the reasons I wanted an iPhone because of its great camera resolution compared to other brands. But the only problem I usually encounter is I always have a hard time navigating to the camera app when I needed the most.

Thanks to the upcoming iOS 5. With its cool new feature having a camera app icon in the lockscreen could definitely ease my mind. With just a single tap of your finger in the lockscreen, you can now open the iPhone camera and take a picture using the volume-up button. You can trim and edit picture immediately after you have taken it. That’s another great enhancement added to your iPhone.

Remember to stay away from updating your iOS until new jailbreak will come up if you want to preserve your jailbroken apps. Always follow us for more added features that iOS 5 has brought.

Full Charge Alert

When you are having an iPhone, it’s like your iPhone will do things smoother than what you usually do. Not like other smartphones, iPhone can be modified in the best way to fulfill the users’ needs. One more great app I have recently tried was Full Charge Alert. This app will alarm if your iPhone has finished charging. This is why I really need this app since I usually charge my iPhone while sleeping and unplugged it if I woke up. For $1.95, Full Charge Alert is available through Cydia in the BigBoss repo. Though it is just a little tweak, this is useful for someone like me who always caught my iPhone in the charger. This app can be customized through the Settings app.

FBUploader is a simple and easy application for iPhone that may be included in the coming iOS 5. But as for now, this app will provide a way for users to directly upload the picture taken from iPhone camera roll to Facebook. It’s actually integrating Facebook with the iOS. Basically, you need to open Facebook prior to uploading a certain picture. With FBUploader, you do not need to launch Facebook since it adds an option to the bottom of the OPTIONS menu in the Photos app. You will be able to upload pictures to Facebook easily after you had authenticated through Facebook connect. FBUploader is available through Cydia for $1.99.

Enjoy these two simple yet useful apps that can only be used if you jailbreak your iPhone. Need to jailbreak your iPhone? Click here.

Having an iPhone will only limit your data storage for up to 32GB, since it has no expandable memory slot. Some iPhone users find it hard to store more than what the iPhone can provide. That is why Seagate has introduced the new GoFlex Wireless storage for your iPhone. You can bring it wherever your iPhone can go and have the ability to stream wirelessly your videos, pictures, music or documents. With 500GB capacity (can even store up to 300 HD movies); the GoFlex comes with a built-in battery so you can stream videos for up to 5 hours or standby time for up to 25 hours.

Setting up Seagate’s GoFlex Wireless Storage is very easy. First, load up your portable media storage from your Mac or PC. Just drag files over and organize it however you want and the App or web server will arrange it accordingly. Charge the device through an included portable wall charger or car charger. Now you are ready to stream wirelessly with just a single press of the button.

GoFlex supports up to 3 mobile devices to stream simultaneously. A free app for iPhone (also for iPad/iPod touch) is available for free in AppStore to easily browse for the files you stored. Works perfectly for iOS devices but can also be streamed to almost any device that has WiFi connectivity and web browser, including laptops, Android phones and tablets.

Seagate’s GoFlex Wireless Storage is worth around $200 but with this one-of-a-kind media device, it’s a must-have for all iOS devices users since the need of extra storage is higher.
